Casa Y Jardin Bazaar
The Catholic Women’s Club’s much awaited event, Casa Y Jardin Bazaars will have two bazaars to be held at the Grand Ballroom of Hotel Intercontinental.
What sets Casa Y Jardin apart from other bazaars is that, it has a feature unique only to Casa Y Jardin which is the sale of the Limited Edition Mother & Child Plate which is chaired by Nina Dizon, Maritess Pineda and Joey Sobrepeña . Now on its 26th series, the featured artist for 2011 is the well-known visual artist “Anita Magsaysay Ho”.
For its 90th Anniversary, a commemorative plate to mark CWC’s 90th anniversary is by National Artist “Botong Francisco”.
The committee under the leadership of President Mimi Valerio is composed of Nikki Valerio as Chairperson, Ane Preysler and Terry Tambunting as Co-Chairpersons, invite all of you to come & shop during the bazaars. By doing so, all shoppers become our partners in providing for CWC’s more than 65 charities, such as Elsie Gaches Village, Alabang Hospice, Good Shepherd etc. Helping them mind the bazaar are children and grandchildren of members to prepare and give them a sense of responsibility and service.
Shopping will be a pleasure for both bazaars will be selling varied items from Christmas Decor, Branded Clothes ? Export Over-Runs, Home Decors, Jewelry, Houseware, Bags, Clothing Accessories, Shoes & Slippers, Toys and a lot more.
The Gold Elephant Table which is very popular among shoppers carries various items donated by generous members and will be sold at give-away prices.
Another feature is the sale of Maid’s Uniforms sewn by women who were trained sewing skills through CWC’s initiative which is chaired by Tessie Rodrigo. CWC funded the building of a social hall and purchased sewing machines to provide employment to housewives living at Gawad Kalinga Community in Onyx, Manila. CWC on its 90th year will also turn over 38 housing units in partnership with Gawad Kalinga in Taguig before the end of October.
Visa and Mastercard Credit Cards will be accepted.
