Shop for interesting artwork and help raise funds for the lupus patients of the Philippine General Hospital at Art Flood 2011 from October 21 to 23, (Friday-Saturday, 10 to 6 p.m.; Sunday, 9 to 3 p.m.) at Silverlens Gallery.
This annual event was first organized two years ago in the wake of Typhoon Ondoy, with the Philippine National Red Cross-Rizal Chapter (Makati Branch) as our beneficiary. The ART FLOOD 2010 beneficiary was Kapit Bisig Para sa Ilog Pasig. This year, ART FLOOD benefits the Sagip Buhay Medical Foundation Lupus Fund for the patients of the Philippine General Hospital.
We look forward to seeing you in ART FLOOD 2011, and in working with you to help alleviate the burdens of both Lupus patients and their families.
ART FLOOD 2011 will be happening alongside MaARTe, a sale showcasing the best Philippine crafts made locally from indigenous materials. On its second year, the fair features contemporary and antique jewelry, decorative and functional pottery, clay sculptures, glass and metal works, fashion accessories, and home accents.
MaARTe 2011 is organized by the Museum Foundation of the Philippines to raise funds for their cultural programs and the National Museum of the Filipino People.
