Puray Falls: reliving healthy living.

It's been a while since I used my bike. I used to ride my bike to different places. mostly off road, terrain on mountains, and usually one trip is always a whole day event. We usually leave at around 5 or 6am, bring our lunch boxes with us some drinks. some food to cook of course and some snack. We meet-up in a designated place which is marked our starting point. some rode their bike to the meeting place some others bring their car since we have friends that came all the way from the south.

pinoy mt bikers

after breakfast we all rode hard and fast to our destination.

ahh just a flat road.. boring. :)

ok now we're going up the mountains

This is the most tiring part. But at least no more smoke belching vehicles, no more pollution, only us and nature.

stop over
we had to stop over at this little barangay so we can replenish ourselves with some drinks and food. This was our last stop before we go to our destination.

Ride like a Girl
Some cam-whoring here and there before anything else. Who said only guys can ride the mountains? Our friend from ParaƱaque owns this nice seat in pink :)

then off we go to our destination. We crossed the river like 7 times to before we we're able to reach our destination.

a little more cam-whoring haha!

we reached this little village just right before our destination.
Sadly we can only bring our bikes up to this point and had to trek until we reach our destination. We left our bikes in one of the houses there and contracted someone to cook rice for us.

nice rigs.

Bikes have been set aside as we prepare to trek.

And so we have reached our destination: Puray Falls
Puray Falls

yeyeye! time for the good part. Swimming and lunch time!! wohoo! haha!

our menu for lunch? saraaaap!

it only took 5 mins and everything was gone.

time for swimming.

then after all the fun. we have to prepare to return home already so we can get back to the city in time before it gets dark.

We all got back to our meeting place around 5pm and I got home around 6pm.

This is what mountain biking is all about. fun and excitement despite the tiring experience.

mountain biking is really a good way to take all the stresses brought about by City life out of your system. It's also a good way to exercise. It has been the main reason why i kept my weight low despite my eating habits hahaha!

It's been a while since I last sat on my bike.

I took it out of the storage, cleaned it. pumped some air on the tires. then off i go.
I did not go to the mountains where we usually play. Instead, I went to U.P. to run some laps on their oval, if you wanna call it oval.

I need to be able to train first before playing in the mountains again, because I need to train my legs. Having cramps while you're up in the mountains can delay your trip big time.

by the way this is my rig:
